KOSY

Intriguing female voices connected in songs of Lower Silesia Region in Poland, where their life paths crossed. KOSY revive folk songs of their ancestors of the "Land of the Apple Trees" and bring them back to the ground of modern cities. With their creative, contemporary arrangements, They combine original compositions with traditional materials in the companion of a variety of instruments: harmonium, hurdy-gurdy, frame drums, violin, viola, sansula and percussion.

Since their foundation in 2019, they have won a number of prizes and awards, and gave several performances in Europe, including a prestigious showcase at WOMEX 21 in Porto.
